the lamb has a beautiful vibe, with a roaring log fire and cozy old furniture. our superior double room was fantastic, right above the bar with great filter coffee. the breakfast by the open fire was delightful, especially the amazing croissants. everyone was friendly, and it really felt like home for our little dog, too.

Had such a cozy time here! We enjoyed some relaxing evenings by the fire and loved the sun terrace for a chill vibe. The room was a bit snug, and the TV could use more channels, but overall, everything suited us just fine. 😊

Had a blast with friends at this cozy old pub. We enjoyed exploring the pretty cobbled terrace and the nearby children's playground. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the food was top-notch. Just a heads up, the parking situation can be a bit tricky but it’s free once you find a spot. Definitely recommend the Dartmoor IPA!
The only downside was that the bed we had felt like two singles pushed together, which wasn't great for a comfortable night’s sleep.

The bar served up some fantastic local bites and crafted ales—perfect for a cozy evening. The staff were top-notch, even accommodating our late-night meal order. The Garden Suite had a lovely log burner, adding to the charm of this characterful pub.
Had a bit of a hiccup with the room heating—we woke up frozen! Plus, that dodgy little TV didn't work. The entrance could do with some TLC for smoother luggage handling.

Charming pub with fantastic food
I had a lovely time staying at this cozy pub, especially enjoying the delicious breakfast with locally sourced produce. The atmosphere was so inviting, making it a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a drink in the garden. The only downside was the lack of Wi-Fi in the room, which made it challenging to plan my day during my stay.

Tranquil garden area, extensive drink selection, unique cinema events
Pricing seems steep given the lack of in-room WiFi!!! Heating could use improvement as rooms were far too cold upon arrival, and parking options left much to be desired!!!

I recently spent a night at The Lamb Inn and found it charming yet challenging. The quaint atmosphere really catches your eye. My room, a Very Small Double, felt cozy but definitely smaller than average. It had an en suite and a hanging space, which was handy. The comfort of the bed stood out. The evening meal was a highlight. I enjoyed a beef and mushroom dish that was wonderfully hearty and well-prepared. On the downside, parking was a hassle on the narrow streets. I had to park some distance away and navigate a steep hill with my luggage. Breakfast could have been better too. it started late, which felt rushed. There are no toiletries like shampoo or conditioner provided in the room, so come prepared. Despite these annoyances, I appreciated the warm atmosphere and friendly staff who went out of their way to help me settle in. Definitely a mixed bag but worth a revisit for the food and ambiance.

Exceptional food and cozy atmosphere
Our short stay was highlighted by an unforgettable dinner. the steak was grilled to perfection, complemented by fresh sides that sang with flavor. Friendly staff made us feel right at home. Pro tip, be sure to book dinner in advance as the restaurant gets busy!
